MEV Banners are an experimental NFT for the MEV Army community. Each MEV Army NFT can mint 1 banner for free (plus gas). The smart contract will leverage MEV Army on-chain trait data to know what legion your MEV Army NFT is in and mint you the appropriate legion banner.

MEV Banners are 100% on-chain ASCII images, customizable (within certain parameters), and "Legion Owned." "Legion Owned" means that if you customize/update your banner, it will change for EVERYONE ELSE in that legion. People who own a specific legion banner can alter certain features of it as many times as they want. Any changes you make to your banner may be overwritten by someone else in the future. MEV Banners are collectible NFTs and are not to be viewed as investments. The utility of a MEV Banner is the art and technical innovation of the NFT itself. There is a 0% secondary royalty on MEV Legion Banners.

1. First, check your MEV to make sure it is eligible for the banner claim. Each MEV Army NFT can only be used to mint a banner once.
2. Next, connect your wallet and select the MEV's that you want to mint a banner for. Note, the ability to mint banners will NOT always be open. In other words, there will be times when minting is open and times when minting is closed. This website will inform you when minting is open or closed. 
3. Once your banner is minted, you will be able to see it in your wallet on OpenSea. Next, navigate to the customize page, where you can choose the color and ASCII number to display in your banner. NOTE, when you update your banner on this website, it will NOT automatically change on OpenSea. To show your banner changes, you need to refresh the metadata on OpenSea. 
4. MEV Banners can be used as Twitter Banners. Navigate to the download page, and follow the instructions to download your banner image.
